Live Video Webcasting  & Virtual News Conferences

Live video webcasting is a convenient way to allow audience members who are unable to attend in person to still view your event/announcement.

Convenience:
Hold a virtual news conference from your own office boardroom. No need to book a hotel room and incur additional costs. Post-event, head back to your work stations without having to travel back to the office.

Save on travel costs:
By organizing a live webcast, you can invite employees or stakeholders to log on using a computer from their current location and view the event who might have otherwise had to travel in from out of town, incurring costly travel expenses.

Missed the Live Webcast? Don't worry:
For those members of your intended audience who couldn't log on at the actual time of your Live Webcast - the video is always archived, allowing you to send a link to those individuals who may then access the event footage at their convenience.

Archived Video Webcasting

Today, the quality of an archived video webcast makes for a great viewing experience.  This is a cost effective way to extend the reach and longevity of your events and presents the opportunity to share content with stakeholders, staff, the media and the public, at their convenience.

VVC wants to help make this exciting new service become a standard practice for news events in Canada

Edited Web Video Clips

As a compliment to our "archived video webcast service" VVC now offers Edited Web Video Clips of announcements that capture the key messages in a shorter format, with cutaway and b-roll shots edited in. This format works best when the presenter is doing a walking tour of a facility pre or post-announcement that the camera person can capture b-roll footage of, and later edit it into the podium footage of the announcement. This ends up being about a 3-minute clip of the announcement – a great length to put online.

Web Video Announcements

A Web Video Announcement is a link to a web video which could be used when there is no "formal" event but just a news release. This service is designed to be part of the trend towards "Social Media New Releases" which offer web links to relevant material. By pre-recording and editing together a short web video to support the announcement, it can have greater impact, reach and longevity than just a printed release. A link to B-roll can also be included. High-res broadcast quality video can be sent directly to media outlets in support of the announcement.
